We wanted to get away from it all – somewhere peaceful, somewhere beautiful, somewhere where the kids could make as much noise as they wanted.  Our Uncle’s property was perfect.  I spent some weekends there when I was a kid and I just love this place. We found somewhere new this time too – a great little corner of the creek up near the back fencing – it was cool, peaceful and the perfect spot to rest and hang out after a big walk.  We also took an old cows track down the hill to get there one day.. it was quite an adventure and unfortunately, I didn’t take my camera!  I have no pictures from this amazing water hole.   The views were also phenomenal, but we needed all our focus to get down this old beaten track which plunged down steeply on one side.  Such an adventure and my legs are still aching!

There was no mobile reception out there & my eyes were glad for the break from the computer.  These shots below have had just a quick processing.  Also, you might notice – I didn’t take a tripod & the shots of the (incredible) full moon are a tad blurry!  What  also blew me away was the fresh tree sap that had oozed with this full moon – the cycles of nature are amazing.  I’m so glad our kids can experience this all  xx
