I’m looking back on the travel experiences we had in 2014 (it really doesn’t seem that long ago!) and I came across these images from our trip to Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures.   Here we were at an accredited ecotourism park, and I was there to photograph the education, the conservation, the wildlife… yet what I was witnessing crushed me.  Crocs bred in captivity to spend their life in these cement enclosures, growing just big enough to fashion a luxury item like a bag, or shoes…  I couldn’t see how these guys can be classed as ‘wildlife’ (which the farming laws hinge on).
